Honglei Cao

Honglei (Emily) Cao is a seasoned biostatistician with extensive experience in managing complex statistical tasks across various organizations. Currently serving as Principal Biostatistician at Labcorp since December 2022, responsibilities include leading biostatistics and programming activities, contributing to program design, and preparing statistical analysis plans. Prior roles include Sr. Biostatistician II at Clinipace, where project execution of statistical tasks was planned, and Biostatistician/Manager at Target Health, overseeing statistical analysis plans and team leadership. Earlier positions include data analysis at Sichuan Bureau of Statistics and investigative roles at the National Bureau of Statistics. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Applied Statistics from Syracuse University and a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics.
