Yvonne Zamorano Wright

Yvonne Zamorano Wright has extensive experience in the laboratory and healthcare fields, currently serving as Director of Innovation & Process Improvement at Labcorp since October 2009. Prior roles at Labcorp include Laboratory Manager, Direct Test/Toxicology Manufacturing Supervisor III, Direct Test Lab Supervisor I, and Senior Technologist for Research and Development, during which Yvonne presented at the American Society of Mass Spectrometry and contributed to the implementation of various assays. Previous experience includes serving as Lead Medical Laboratory Technician at the Naval Hospital in Camp Lejeune, where management of branch clinic laboratory duties included oversight of inspections, as well as a Medical Laboratory Technician at Onslow Memorial Hospital. Yvonne's early career includes military service as an Aviation Ordnance Armament Repair Technician in the United States Marine Corps, emphasizing curriculum development and instruction. Yvonne has completed education at the University of Cincinnati, Coastal Carolina Community College, and Craven Community College, in addition to the University of Maryland.
