Sandra Leung has extensive work experience in various roles, spanning different industries and companies. Sandra started their career in the University of Virginia Health Sciences Center as a Research Assistant in 1994. Sandra then moved on to the Johns Hopkins University Medical Institute, where they served as a Senior Research Laboratory Technician II, managing the laboratory of Gregg Semenza, MD, PhD. After that, they worked at Columbia University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences as a Teaching Assistant, where they taught recitation classes for the Introduction to Biology I Core Class.

In 2005, Sandra joined New York University as a Post-Doctoral Fellow, conducting research in the laboratory of Lili Yamasaki, PhD. Sandra played a crucial role in a project aimed at determining how genetic background affects cancer survival and predisposition. During their time at NYU, they mentored and trained six colleagues while making significant contributions to their individual project.

In 2011, Sandra joined TRAFFIQ as a Search and Account Manager, where they managed multiple large SEM accounts. Sandra'snotable clients included Sleepy's and Dotmenu (later GrubHub). Sandra was responsible for the day-to-day budget maintenance, report production, and online sales growth for Sleepy's.

From 2014 to 2018, Sandra worked at Silverlight Digital as a Senior Search and Account Manager.

Since 2018, Sandra has been working at Labelium. Sandra initially held the position of Director, Paid Search and SEO, and later on, they were promoted to AVP, Client & Marketing Services. In 2022, they became the VP, Client & Marketing Services before transitioning to their current role as VP, Search & Media Operations, which they still hold.

Sandra Leung has an extensive education history. Sandra received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Art History from the University of Virginia, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. Sandra then pursued their studies at the Columbia University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Biological Sciences in 1999. Continuing their education at Columbia, Sandra earned a Master of Philosophy degree in Biological Sciences in 2002. Sandra further pursued their academic journey and successfully completed their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Biological Sciences from the same institution in 2005.
