Joseph M. Lanaro

Joseph M. Lanaro, PE, currently serves as Vice President and Municipal Discipline Leader of the Civil Division at LaBella Associates since January 2022. With extensive experience in the engineering field, Lanaro was previously a Senior Principal and Vice President at The Chazen Companies from July 1995 to December 2021. Additionally, Lanaro contributed to academia as an Adjunct Instructor at Union College from April 1996 to September 2004. Early career roles include positions as Senior Project Manager/Engineer at C.T. Male Associates, Project Engineer at ABD Engineers and Surveyors and Reeves Engineering, and roles as an Intern Engineer/Intern Surveyor and Civil Engineering Technician. Lanaro earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Union College and an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering Technology from Hudson Valley Community College.
