Rodulfo Prieto is the Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer of Laboratoria, a social enterprise that prepares talented young women from underserved backgrounds for careers in software development and UX design.
Prieto began their career as a finance manager for Procter & Gamble, where they spent nearly nine years working in various countries. Rodulfo launched new products into markets, forecasted cash positions and macroeconomic conditions, and led corporate restructuring projects with NPVs exceeding US$100 million.
In 2013, Prieto co-founded Laboratoria with the mission of providing Latin America’s talent with the digital skills they need to thrive in a knowledge economy. To date, the organization has trained over 5,000 women and placed them in jobs at leading companies across the region.
Under Prieto’s leadership, Laboratoria has become the leading source of female tech talent from Latin America to the world. The organization now has training centers in Lima, Santiago, Mexico City, Guadalajara, and Sao Paulo.
Rodulfo Prieto has a Master in Public Administration from Columbia University in the City of New York, where they specialized in Economic Policy. Rodulfo also has a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar, where they graduated Cum Laude.
