Clark Mulligan, CAE has an extensive background in association management, with experience in various roles such as President/CEO, Executive Director, Director of Membership, and Communications Director. Currently serving as the President/CEO at Laboratory Products Association since July 2007, Clark is responsible for managing day-to-day operations, working with the Board of Directors, overseeing membership recruitment and retention, and monitoring the association's budget. Clark holds a BA in Political Science from The Citadel and has completed graduate work in Association Management at The George Washington University.

The Laboratory Products Association (LPA) was founded in 1918 as the Scientific Apparatus Makers Association. LPA member companies are manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers of laboratory products such as glass and plasticware, chemicals, equipment, and supplies used in scientific research and applied science and life science worldwide. In today’s competitive global environment, it is imperative that companies have the resources and tools they need to be successful. The LPA enables its members to constantly improve their global and commercial success by providing them with unique opportunities in networking, market information, and education.
