Amelia-Rose Tighe

Amelia-Rose Tighe has extensive experience in political roles, currently serving as Head of Briefing and Manager of the Briefing Unit at The Labour Party since October 2020, following a period as a Briefing Officer. Prior experience includes a Senior Parliamentary Assistant position to Yvette Cooper MP at the House of Commons from December 2016 to October 2020, and various roles during the Labour Party Leadership campaign where Amelia-Rose contributed as a Social Media Officer and Organiser for the EU Referendum. An internship for Hilary Benn MP at the House of Commons from September 2013 to April 2016 and a research position at the Centre For Women and Democracy further enhance Amelia-Rose's political expertise. Amelia-Rose holds a degree in Politics from the University of Leeds, completed in 2016.
