Laura Sweeting

Laura Sweeting is currently serving as the Parliamentary and Campaigns Officer for The Labour Party, working with Stella Creasy MP since May 2023. Prior to this, Laura held multiple roles at Teneo, including Associate Consultant and Account Executive, from September 2021 to May 2023. Experience as a Political Communications Researcher at Charlotte Street Partners was gained in the summer of 2021, and a Political Communications Internship was completed with the Afghanistan and Central Asian Association from October 2020 to May 2021. Academic qualifications include a BA in Theology and the Philosophy of Religion from the University of Cambridge and an MSc in Global Governance and Ethics from UCL. Laura has also contributed as a mentor for The Accelerate and Access Foundation and participated in various outreach and brand management roles throughout education and early career.
