Waldo van der Merwe

Waldo van der Merwe has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Waldo started their career in 2010 at PwC, where they worked as an Assistant Manager in Assurance and later as an Article Clerk. During this time, they gained experience in financial statements, accounting, and external audits for various industries.

In 2013, they joined 3Q Mahuma Concrete as a Senior Financial Manager, focusing on finance, costing, and stock control. Waldo implemented improved reconciliation templates, enhanced cash flow budgeting, and resolved audit matters.

From 2014 to 2017, Waldo worked at FedEx Express as a Finance Manager Controller. Waldo was responsible for financial control, variance analysis, and consolidation of financial statements for multiple countries within the Southern African region.
