Nora Lane

Nora Lane is an accomplished Optical Engineer and Space Grade Project Manager at Labsphere, Inc. since March 2024, previously serving as Associate Professional Staff I at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory from August 2019 to March 2024. Nora holds a Master of Science in Optics and a Bachelor of Science in Optical Engineering, both from the University of Rochester. Experience includes roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, Summer Research Program Intern at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, and Research Assistant at Cardenas Lab for Nanoscale and Integrated Photonics. Additionally, Nora demonstrated leadership as President and Business Manager of the University of Rochester Strong Jugglers, and has worked in various capacities such as Optical Design Intern and Freshman Fellow. Early career involved teaching swimming to children and managing pool maintenance.
