Timothy Dowd

District Supervisor at Lacey Township School District

Mr. Timothy Dowd joined Lacey Township School District during the 2016-2017 school year and has always been excited to be working in such a pride-filled community that showcases its students, teachers, and staff. For his career, Mr. Dowd has fulfilled many roles in education and in community building. Starting with experiences in international conflict resolution and community mediation, he has served as a classroom English instructor, an assistant athletic director, an English department supervisor, and high school assistant principal, before becoming the 7-12 District Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction.

Mr. Dowd received his Masters of Arts in Educational Leadership along with a certificate as an Educational Specialist from Seton Hall University. He also has a Masters of Arts in Teaching from The College of New Jersey, a baccalaureate degree in Conflict Analysis and Dispute Resolution from Salisbury University, as well as a certificate in International Conflict Resolution from the University of Rotterdam in The Netherlands. Currently, he is working toward his doctorate in education at Seton Hall University.
