Javier Navas

Javier Navas has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Javier is currently working as the Chief Product Officer at lacia Packaging Design since May 2022. Prior to this, Javier worked at HMY from December 2018 to May 2022, where they held the position of Head Of Development & Tech Product.

Before joining HMY, Javier had a long tenure at Fractalia, starting in August 2015 and ending in December 2018. During their time at Fractalia, they served as the Head of Development, overseeing development teams and being responsible for product ownership, design, and implementation of development policies and processes. Prior to this role, they worked as a Product Owner and Functional Analyst, where they managed product and team backlogs, created user stories, and gathered and analyzed requirements for software projects.

Javier's earlier experience includes working at Motorola from 2004 to 2008. Javier held roles such as IMS SQA Engineer, MSS Software Development Engineer, and Scholarship. In these positions, they were involved in tasks such as test plan creation, development of automated testing tools, software development, bug fixing, and analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) for network protocols.

Javier Navas has a diverse education history. Javier obtained their Engineer's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidade de Vigo in the years 1996 to 2003. Later, in 2014 to 2015, they pursued a Postgraduate Degree in Agile Product & Project Management at IEBS. Continuing their educational pursuits, Javier attended Escuela de Escritores in 2019 for a degree in Escritura Creativa (Creative Writing). Currently, Javier is enrolled in the EAE Business School, working towards a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
