John Baldino

John Baldino has extensive work experience in various fields. John is currently an Assistant Professor at Lackawanna College, where they teach philosophy, religious studies, and communications courses to traditional students, adult learners, and dual-enrollment high school students. John is also the Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning, overseeing operations, budget, training, and content creation for faculty and instructors. Prior to this, they held the role of Co-Director at the Center for Teaching and Learning, leading workshops and training sessions for faculty. John has also worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Excelsior University, where they taught liberal arts and sciences courses. In addition, they have experience as a Contributing Writer at Catholic Insight Magazine and as the Managing Director of Baldino Digital, where they managed operations, marketing, and client fulfillment. Before that, John worked at Nexstar Media Group, Inc. as the Regional Director of Digital Revenue and Marketing Services, driving revenue growth and implementing training programs. John also held positions at Keystone College, Wilkes-Barre Publishing Company, ION Media Networks, and The New York Times, where they gained experience in teaching, digital media management, and sales. Outside of their professional career, John has produced and directed cabaret shows with Our Cabaret Productions.

John Baldino, OFS, MALS has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communication Arts: Digital Media and Broadcast Production from Marywood University. John also holds a Master of Arts Theology (MAT) degree in Pastoral Theology from Saint Joseph's College. Additionally, they obtained a Master of Arts Liberal Studies (MALS) degree in Philosophy and Religious Studies from Excelsior University. John has a Graduate Certificate (GCert) in Catholic Theology from Saint Joseph's College. John Baldino, OFS, MALS also has a diploma from Carbondale Area Jr./Sr. High School. John has obtained certifications in "Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse" from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 2016, "Smart Practices Substitute Educator" from TeacherMatch in 2016, and "Virtus: Protecting God's Children" from the National Catholic Risk Retention Group, Inc. in 2010.
