Maureen McGuigan

Maureen McGuigan has extensive experience in the arts and culture sector. From 2008 to present, they have been the Director of Arts and Culture at the County of Lackawanna, PA. In this role, they oversee the department and manages a $1.2 million arts and culture tax fund. Maureen's responsibilities include providing grants to organizations, facilitating collaboration in the community, and overseeing The Electric City Trolley Museum. Prior to this, from 2005 to 2008, they were the Outreach Manager at the Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania. In this role, they directed Girl Scout programs for underserved populations, wrote grants, and developed curriculum.

Maureen McGuigan's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of Pittsburgh, which they obtained from 1992 to 1996.
