Irene Shone has a diverse range of work experience in the food industry. Irene began their career at Campbell Company of Canada as a Food Technologist before moving on to Graphic Packaging International, where they developed innovative microwave packaging for food products. Irene then joined Parmalat Canada as an Account Manager in the Ingredients Division. After that, they worked at Brenntag as an Account Manager.

Irene's roles continued to evolve as they joined Lake City Foods as a Product Development Manager, where they created and formulated retail and food service products. Irene later worked at Metro Inc. as a Product Development Manager for Corporate Brands, leading the development of private label food and non-food products.

Irene then returned to Parmalat Canada as a Business Development and Product Manager for the Food Service and Ingredients Division. During this time, they also became a member of the Parmalat Canada Leadership Committee. Irene subsequently took on the role of Director of Business Development - FSI at Lactalis Canada, where they identified and managed new business opportunities and oversaw product development and innovation for the Food Service and Ingredients Division.

Currently, Irene holds the position of Director of Business Development Co-Manufacturing for the Yogourt and Cultured Division at Lactalis Canada. In this role, they continue to pursue profitable and strategic business opportunities.

Throughout their career, Irene has demonstrated expertise in business development, product management, technical support, and training.

Irene Shone completed their Bachelor's degree in Food Science from the University of Guelph, between 1987 and 1992.
