Margie Thomsen

Margie Thomsen has extensive experience in the field of foreign patent filing, currently serving as the Manager of the Foreign Filing Department at Ladas & Parry LLP since April 1968. Responsibilities include estimating filing costs, dispatching foreign patent applications, preparing and electronically filing PCT applications using the PCT Safe program, and preparing requisite formal documents for various countries. Previously, Margie held the role of IP Legal Administrator, where tasks involved similar work on foreign filing and patent documentation. Margie's career began at a Medical Mailing Service in Chicago, where responsibilities included preparing and updating mailing lists. Margie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography, History, and English from the University of Illinois Chicago, earned between 1964 and 1968.
