Dominic Smithers

Dominic Smithers is an experienced editorial professional currently serving as Editorial Lead at LADbible Group since September 2018, with previous roles including News/Agenda Lead, Senior Writer, and Journalist. Prior experience includes reporting for Manchester Evening News and Mancunian Matters, and a stint as a freelance writer. Dominic began a career in journalism with a Gold Standard NCTJ accreditation and has also contributed to CultNoise Magazine. In addition to a background in teaching assistance for Manchester City Council, Dominic has experience as a freelance French language tutor. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in French and History from the University of Leeds and study at Université Jean Moulin (Lyon III).
