Thomas Pilgaard Birkebæk began their work experience in 2006 as a Sales Representative at DPD Pakketservice. Thomas then worked as a Sales Assistant at Bolia.com from 2007 to 2009, where they also served as a team leader on weekends. In 2009, they became an E-Commerce Manager at Timedots, where they managed the online transformation of the company and executed various marketing strategies. In 2012, they joined Zalando SE as a Campaign Manager Denmark, and later became a Campaign and Promotion Manager for Denmark and Sweden. Thomas eventually became the Local Brand Manager for the Nordics, coordinating campaigns and promotions. In 2014, they joined Visual Meta GmbH as a Sales Manager Denmark, leading the sales team and focusing on B2B account management and acquisition, as well as Facebook, Adwords, and GDN activities. However, their tenure was interrupted due to brain cancer treatment, and the end date and final result of their treatment are currently unknown.

Thomas Pilgaard Birkebæk obtained their Bachelor's degree in International Marketing from Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark, completing their studies from 2007 to 2010.
