Arthur Tran

Arthur Tran, P.E., currently serves as an Electrical Engineering Associate at the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, a position held since March 2023, following a role as a Student Engineer within the same department from June to September 2022. During the student internship, Arthur contributed to the Regulatory, Standards, & Compliance Group by reviewing compliance documents and drafting feedback for regulatory issues related to NERC Reliability Standards. Prior experience includes a position as a Process Engineer at Proterra Inc, where Arthur led a team to reduce production costs through continuous improvement initiatives and collaboration with quality teams. Arthur holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from UCLA and an Associate in Science in Engineering & Physics from Orange Coast College, as well as an MBA in General Business from the University of Southern California.
