Civil Engineer Associate I at Los Angeles Department of Water & Power

Kimberly Enriquez has a diverse and extensive work experience in various engineering and drafting roles. Kimberly began their career as an Office Attendant at Associated Students of Cuesta College in 2011. From 2015 to 2015, they worked as a Project Specialist at Shlemmer+Algaze+Associates, where they facilitated trainings, produced reports, and ensured the completion of project milestones. Kimberly then joined Structure Architecture & Interiors as a Drawing Administrator from 2016 to 2017, where they oversaw engineering and facilities drawings and updated electronic drawing systems. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as a CAD Specialist at Level 3 Design Group, providing technical support, analyzing processes, and collaborating with project managers. In 2021, Kimberly served as a CAD Drafter II at Fiedler Group, designing hydrogen fuel facility site plans and creating entitlement documents. Kimberly is currently employed at the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, starting as a Civil Engineering Drafting Technician in 2022 and progressing to the role of Lead Civil Engineering Drafting Technician in 2023. Kimberly also volunteered at the 1st Women's Career & Wellness Expo representing their role in the Career Booth.

Kimberly Enriquez's education history includes obtaining a Bachelor's of Science degree in Civil Engineering from California State University, Fresno from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they attended Cuesta College from 2009 to 2012, with a focus on Civil Engineering. Kimberly also studied Civil Engineering at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2007 to 2009. Additionally, Kimberly has obtained two certifications from Procore Technologies: "Procore Certified: Engineer" and "Procore Certified: Project Manager (Project Management)" in November 2020.
