Ronak Chikhalya

Ronak Chikhalya, P.E. is a seasoned electrical engineer with extensive experience in solar program management at LADWP since July 2014, currently serving as the Solar Incentive/Utility Built Solar Program Manager. Responsibilities include administering a $313M net-metered solar rebate program and a 150 MW Solar Feed-in-Tariff program, training new associates, managing service contracts, and facilitating partnerships for grid resiliency projects. Previous positions include Lead Electrical Engineer at GEKKO Engineering Inc., Engineering Team Leader at Intertek Testing Services, and Electrical Engineering Intern at the Bureau of Engineering. Ronak holds an MBA from USC Marshall School of Business and two master's and bachelor's degrees in Electrical Engineering from California State University, Long Beach.
