Lee Clippard

Lee Clippard, with a BS in Biology from The University of Texas at Austin and a MS in Entomology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, has held various leadership roles in communications and management. Currently serving as the Executive Director at Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center since February 2014, Lee previously worked as the Senior Director of Communications at the University of Texas at Austin.

The University of Texas at Austin's Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center inspires the conservation of native plants through its gardens and education, research and outreach programs. Established in 1982, the center is nationally-renowned for its programs in plant conservation, ecosystem design, native plants, sustainable landscapes and education. It was named the state botanic garden and arboretum of Texas in 2017. People visiting the center's home in Austin, Texas can explore sustainable landscapes and native plants in cultivated gardens, the 16-acre Molly Steves Zachry Texas Arboretum, the Luci and Ian Family Garden and acres of natural landscapes.
