Daniel Barnes

Daniel Barnes is a seasoned entrepreneur with extensive experience in the beverage industry. As the Founder of The Notorious Group since May 2024, Barnes also co-founded Lady Bird Mixer Co. in July 2022. Prior roles include founding Waterloo Gin, which operated until July 2024, and serving as CEO & Founder of Treaty Oak Distilling Co. from January 2005 to July 2024. Barnes has co-founded several other companies, including CANTEEN Spirits and Mighty Swell Cocktails, and played a pivotal role at Waterloo Sparkling Water. Additionally, Barnes was President of the Texas Distilled Spirits Association from April 2012 to October 2016 and held presidential and founding roles at both Landmark Exams and Maven Exams. Education was obtained at The University of Texas at Austin from 1995 to 2000.
