Nina Jackel

Nina Jackel is the Founder and President of Lady Freethinker, a nonprofit media organization dedicated to promoting a free and compassionate world for all species, a position held since April 2013. Prior to this role, Nina served as the Campaign Director for Last Chance for Animals from June 2014 to July 2017 and worked as a Fitness/Nutrition Reporter for both FitDay.com and Organic Authority. Nina's early career included a role as Senior Copy Editor at Mahalo.com and freelance writing for Beacon News Media. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Colorado Denver and a Certificate as a Fitness Nutrition Specialist from the National Academy of Sports Medicine, complemented by studies at UCLA from 2009 to 2013.
