Morten Jacobsen

Morten Jacobsen is an experienced technology executive currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Laerdal Medical since March 2022 and a Board Member at Mentor Media since June 2020. Previously, Morten held the position of EVP Chief Technology Officer at Sbanken ASA, where responsibilities included oversight of technology for a publicly listed bank. Morten's extensive background includes leadership roles at Schibsted Media Group, encompassing positions such as CPO/CTO, where oversight covered over 350 product, UX, and engineering professionals across multiple countries. Contribution to Schibsted included serving as Chairman of the Board at Schibsted Tech Polska and being part of the executive management teams across various brands. Morten's career began at VG Multimedia AS, where Morten rose through the ranks to become Director of Product and Development. Morten holds an M.Sc in Engineering Informatics from the University of Oslo and an additional education from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management.
