Mona Matta is a seasoned Human Resources professional with extensive experience in strategic HR leadership across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Senior Human Resources Manager at Lafarge Canada since June 2024, Mona focuses on strategic HR planning to foster sustainable and profitable business operations. Previously, as Vice President of Human Resources at HEXO Corp from 2018 to September 2023, Mona led all People and Culture initiatives, encompassing various operations from plant cultivation to product distribution. In earlier roles at Zafin from 2008 to 2018, Mona successfully established a formal HR organization, enhancing culture, employee engagement, and retention for a global company.
