James A Sailors

James A. Sailors possesses extensive experience in coaching, athletics management, and education. Currently serving as Field Manager for the Lafayette Aviators since October 2022 and working as Strength Coach and PE Teacher at Logansport Junior High School since July 2020, Sailors has a solid background in sports leadership. Previously, as Vice President of the Northern Baseball Club, involvement in amateur travel baseball spanned from 2008 to 2022. Other notable roles include Agent at Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance, Athletic Director and Head Football Coach at Frontier Jr/Sr High School, and Strength Coach at Delphi Community High School. Early career experience includes serving as Assistant Baseball Coach at Purdue University and managing the collegiate summer baseball team, the Danville Dans. Sailors holds a Master of Education in Secondary Education from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and a Bachelor of Education in Physical Education from Purdue University.
