Emily Eaton

Emily Eaton is an accomplished educator with a wealth of experience in teaching and leadership. Since August 2014, Emily has been a teacher at the Lafayette Parish School System and was awarded Teacher of the Year for 2022-2023, alongside being nominated for LEF Teacher of the Year from 2014 to 2023. Prior to this role, Emily taught science at the Diocese of Lafayette and served as an Executive Director for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, where budgetary goals were exceeded. Additional experience includes positions as Account Executive at Lofton Staffing Services and roles in marketing and sales at Louisiana Hot Stuff, complemented by an internship at the Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce. Emily holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Marketing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from American College of Education.
