Librarian Ii- Adult Services at Lafayette Public Library System

Michelle Brown is an experienced librarian with a career spanning over a decade in various roles within the library system. Currently serving as Librarian II in Adult Services at the Lafayette Public Library System since January 2013, Michelle performs essential tasks such as reference and circulation duties, database management, and material evaluation. Previous positions include Electronic Resource Librarian II, where Michelle developed and taught technology classes, and oversight of the Makerspace at a large suburban library. Additional experience includes roles in pharmacy as a Certified Pharmacy Technician/Marketing Consultant, and customer service as a barista. Michelle holds a Master's degree in Information, Technology, Information, and Management from Rutgers University and a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
