Caleb Hsieh

Caleb Hsieh is a managing director at Lafayette Square. Caleb has over 15 years of experience in the financial industry,originating and structuring debt financing for companies across a wide range of industries.

Caleb began their career at UBS Investment Bank in 2006, where they co-led the Technology, Media and Telecom Leveraged Finance vertical as well as led the Infrastructure Leveraged Finance vertical. In this role, they were responsible for leveraged Finance origination, structuring and marketing for financial sponsor led and other non-investment grade companies.

In 2010, Caleb joined Macquarie Group as Managing Director in the Credit Markets Division. Here, they originated and led direct lending in specialty finance credit, providing fund finance solutions to middle market private credit lenders.

Most recently, Caleb was Managing Director at Centerboard Securities from 2020 to 2021, advising on institutional capital raising for private equity, private credit, venture capital and corporate private placements.

Caleb holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.

Caleb Hsieh is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University, where they earned their MBA in Finance and Health Systems Management from the Weatherhead School of Management. Caleb also holds a BS in Accounting and Management, as well as a BA in Chemistry from Case Western Reserve University. In addition, Caleb Hsieh is certified by FINRA in Series 7 and 79.

They work with Will Foye - Director, Andrew Guido - Senior Associate, and Teresa Wyman - Director. Caleb Hsieh reports to Ryan Ochs, Managing Director, Staffer LS Credit.
