Tonya M. Diponio

Tonya M. DiPonio, SHRM-SCP, has a comprehensive work experience in human resources. From 2020 to present, they served as the Human Resource Director at LaFontaine Automotive Group. Prior to that, they worked at CoStaff Services from 2000 to 2019, holding the positions of Director of Human Resources and Vice President of Human Resources. In this role, they were responsible for all HR functions, provided strategic HR consulting to clients, and managed HR Generalists and HR Business Partners. From 1997 to 2000, Tonya worked at Great Lakes Strategies, L.L.C. as a Benefit Administrator, Lead Benefits Administrator, and Benefit Account Manager. In these roles, they provided consultation and advice on benefit insurance contracts, conducted benefit plan design, and managed benefit call center operations.

Tonya M. DiPonio earned a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resource Management from Michigan State University, completing their degree between 1994 and 1997. In 2008, they obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI). In 2014, Tonya obtained the Certified Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act Professional certification from the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU). Finally, they earned the SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) in August 2015.
