Karl Hala

Karl Hala is an experienced hospitality professional with significant leadership roles in various prestigious hotels. Currently serving as General Manager at Lagos Continental Hotel since June 2021, Karl previously held the position of General Manager at Ethiopian Skylight Hotel from October 2019 to June 2021, overseeing 373 guest rooms with additional developments. Prior experience includes Group General Manager at Ole Sereni Group from July 2017 to July 2019, focusing on financial performance and talent development, and a long tenure as Regional General Manager at InterContinental Hotels Group from February 1983 to June 2017, where financial performance and owner relations were key responsibilities. Karl holds a graduate degree in Tourism and Hotel Management from MODUL and has further education from Kollegium Kalksburg, Vienna.
