David L. Longworth

David L. Longworth, M.D. is an experienced healthcare leader currently serving as the Chief Medical Officer for the Community Physician Network and Chair of the Division of Primary Care at Lahey Health since July 2015. Prior to this role, David L. Longworth held the position of Chair for the Medicine Institute at Cleveland Clinic from February 2011 to May 2015, overseeing 39 practices across 29 sites in Northeast Ohio and Cleveland Clinic Florida, with a focus on Primary Care, Hospital Medicine, Infectious Diseases, and Geriatrics. David L. Longworth also served as Chairman of the Department of Medicine at Baystate Medical Center from July 2002 to January 2011, and as Chairman of the Department of Infectious Diseases at Cleveland Clinic from February 1992 to June 2002.
