Monika Merchea

Monika Merchea serves as the Medical Director of Inpatient Informatics at Lahey Health since January 2021 and has been a Physician and Hospitalist at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center since January 2014. Previous experience includes work as a Physician at NSMC from September 2011 to December 2013 and roles as Chief Resident, Resident Physician, and Intern at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center from July 2008 to June 2011. Monika Merchea earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) at St. George's University from 2004 to 2008 and holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Computer Science from Western University, completed in 2003. Early education includes a High School Diploma and International Baccalaureate from Ashbury College, obtained in 1999.
