Niko Byman

Niko Byman is an experienced professional in the insurance and risk management sectors, currently serving as an Internal Auditor at LähiTapiola since October 2025. Prior to this role, Niko worked at Fennia as an Operational Risk Analyst, where responsibilities included enhancing the operational risk management framework and independent oversight of key processes, alongside managing risk assessment tools. Niko has previously held positions at OP Financial Group as an Internal Auditor, where audit planning and risk assessment were key duties, and at PwC Finland as a Senior Associate in Risk Assurance Services. Early career roles included insurance brokerage at Aon and claims adjustment in various capacities within OP Financial Group and LähiTapiola. Niko holds a Master of Science in Economics with a focus on Insurance Science and Risk Management from the University of Tampere and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Laurea University of Applied Sciences.
