Arshad Hasan is the current Chief Financial Officer at Lahore School of Economics. Prior to this, they held the position of Assistant Manager Finance and Accounts at Prime Television Channel from November 2001 to December 2002. In this role, they were responsible for providing assessment of existing and proposed financial plans and procedures, preparation of daily product wise profitability statement, monitoring and reporting monthly financial performance to senior management, advising management on matters of product acquisition proposals, reviewing and approving enhancements to the current financial reporting, analysis and processes, providing strategic advice as it relates to film and non-film assets and liabilities and their impacts, cash follow management and dealing with financial institutions for financing arrangements, taxation matters both income tax and sales tax, and company corporate affairs including filing of returns. Prior to this, they were an Audit Superviser at Nexia International from July 1998 to November 2001.
Arshad Hasan has a PhD in Accounting and Finance from the University of Gloucestershire, a Master of Science in Accounting and Finance from the University of Gloucestershire, and is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Management Accountant. Arshad also has a Bachelor of Commerce from Hailey College of Commerce at the University of the Punjab. Arshad attended Cadet College Hasanabdal for their Higher Secondary School Certificate.
Atif Younas - Senior Assistant Manager, Accounts, Muhammad Asghar - Senior Deputy Manager, Accounts, and Syed Muzamil Hussain - Manager, Accounts report to Arshad Hasan.
