Brad Schiff

Head Of Animation at LAIKA

Brad Schiff has a diverse range of work experience in the animation industry. Brad began their career as a Stop-Motion Animator at MTV in 1998 before moving on to work at Vinton Studios as a Stop-Motion Animator and Director. During this time, they worked on various projects such as The PJ's, Gary and Mike, and NFL on Fox commercials. In 2004, they joined Warner Bros. Feature Animation as an Animator, and in 2007, they transitioned to LAIKA as an Animator. Brad then became an Animation Supervisor at LAIKA in 2010, before being promoted to Head of Animation in 2018. In 2009, Brad worked as a Key Animator for Fantastic Mr. Fox Productions.

Brad Schiff attended the University of Tampa from 1990 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication. Brad then pursued further education at New York University from 1993 to 1995, obtaining a Master of Fine Arts degree in Film/Animation.
