Sunny Wai Yan Chan

Sunny Wai Yan Chan is a CG Facial Animator currently working at LAIKA, LLC since September 2021, after previously holding the position of Jr CG Facial Animator. Prior experience includes a role as an Animator at Steamroller Studios from March 2020 to September 2021, contributing to the in-game cinematics of titles like Horizon Forbidden West (2022) and Destruction AllStars (2022). Sunny has also served as a Junior Animator at Brazen Animation, a Contract Animator at LAIKA, LLC, and an RP Facial Animation Intern at Primal Screen. Earlier experience includes a position as a 3D Layout Intern and Motion Graphic Designer at The Collective. Sunny earned a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) in Animation from the Savannah College of Art and Design and a Bachelor's Degree in Surveying Technology from The University of Hong Kong.
