Craig Tinker

Craig Tinker is an experienced engineering manager with a comprehensive background in product development and design across various industries. Currently serving as the Product Development Engineering Manager at Laird Technologies since 2013, Craig directs a cross-functional engineering team focused on wireless remote controls for locomotives and industrial equipment, managing a substantial budget and team. Previously, Craig held the position of Staff Engineer at Knowles Electronics, specializing in MEMS-based products, and worked as an Electrical Engineer at Universal Instruments, engaging in high-speed electronic assembly projects. Craig also operated as a Sole Proprietor at Twin Oaks Engineering, providing custom electrical engineering solutions, and served as the Principal Electrical Engineer at Advanced Medical Simulations, where notable contributions included the development of the FetalSim product used in prestigious medical training institutions. Craig holds a B.S.E.E. in Control Systems from Alfred University and two associate degrees from Tompkins Cortland Community College.
