Shirish Patel

Shirish Patel, PMP, is a seasoned engineering manager with extensive experience in product development, innovation, and research. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Newell Brands since December 2015, Shirish leads a team of engineers in the Outdoor and Recreational group, overseeing consumer-driven product features for brands such as Contigo, Rubbermaid, Coleman, and Bubba. Prior roles include Engineering Manager at Newell Brands, Lead Technical Architect at Knowles Corporation, and Mechanical Engineer at Chamberlain Group, Inc., where Shirish introduced innovative technologies and developed customer-focused products. A graduate of Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Shirish also holds an M.S. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and is currently pursuing an MBA from Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
