David Baumes has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. David has held roles in finance and leadership positions in companies such as Lake Champlain Chocolates, Sunflour Bakery Vermont, High Mowing Organic Seeds, Childcare Resource, Vermont Teddy Bear Company, Merchants Bank, American Meadows Inc, Target Corporation, and IBM. In their previous role as Vice President of Finance at Vermont Teddy Bear Company, they were responsible for financial direction, budgeting, forecasting, liquidity management, and strategic planning. David also successfully oversaw a complex debt-to-equity conversion. Additionally, they have experience as a Financial Analyst, Director of Finance, Chief Financial Officer, and Co-Owner. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, data analysis, and stakeholder relations.
David Baumes has an education history that includes multiple degrees and fields of study. David began their education at Mohawk Valley Community College in 1994 and completed an Associate of Science degree in Engineering Science in 1996. Following this, they attended Clarkson University from 1996 to 1998 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Finally, David pursued further education at the University of Vermont, where they earned an MBA in Business Administration from 2000 to 2003.
