Mark Bakk

Mark Bakk, CPA, has over two decades of experience in finance and management. Since February 2008, Mark has held various leadership roles at Lake Country Power, including General Manager, Chief Financial Officer, and Finance Manager. Mark also serves as a Board Member for Better In Our Back Yard since July 2022 and the Minnesota Rural Electric Trust since October 2012. Previously, Mark contributed as a Board Member for the United Way of Northeastern Minnesota from March 2009 to April 2022, including a term as Board President from 2013 to 2014. Mark's career began as an Auditor at McGladrey & Pullen from January 2002 to February 2008. Mark holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree from the University of Minnesota Duluth, earned between 1998 and 2002, specializing in Accounting and Management Information Systems.
