Lake County Forest Preserve District
Rebekah Snyder is the Director of Community Engagement and Partnerships at Lake County Forest Preserve District. Previously, Rebekah held roles such as Chief Development Officer at the Preservation Foundation and Associate Director of Philanthropy at The Nature Conservancy. With a background in environmental science and sociology, Rebekah has a degree from Northwestern University and a Master's in Social Ecology and Community Development from Yale University.

Our mission is to preserve a dynamic and unique system of diverse natural and cultural resources, and to develop innovative, educational, recreational, and cultural opportunities of regional value that reflect a commitment to environmental and fiscal responsibility.
