Sol Cabachuela

Sol Cabachuela currently serves as the Deputy Chief of Civic Engagement and External Affairs for Lake County since March 2023. Prior to this role, Cabachuela was involved in the Mundelein High School District 120 as an Equity and Community Coordinator and Parent Liaison from August 2018 to March 2023. Previous experience includes a position as a Senior Merchandising Analyst at Walgreens and various roles at Sears Holdings Corporation, including Product Capturing Lead and Merchandise/Floor Planner, where responsibilities included collaborating with Store Planning teams and creating floor plans using AutoCAD and JDA. Cabachuela's earlier career included positions at Expo Design Center as a Bath Showroom Associate and Showroom Associate. Educational achievements include a Certificate in Leading Diversity Equity and Inclusion from Northwestern University, a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Westwood College-Dupage, and CAD/CADD Drafting and Design Technology studies at the College of Lake County.
