Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital is a 295-bed acute care facility, providing healthcare services for an 11-county service area in south central Kentucky. A modern, state-of-the-art facility, the hospital offers cardiac care and stroke care and a neurosurgery program that is rated among the best in the nation. The hospital also has a complete clinical laboratory, 24-hour ER, intensive care units, surgical services (including orthopedic and urological), and diagnostic imaging. Other specialty services include women’s and children’s services, a Level II neonatal nursery, cardiopulmonary services, behavioral health unit, and inpatient rehabilitation. Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital (LCRH) employs a staff of more than 1,200 health care professionals and support personnel and has more than 170 physicians representing 38 medical specialties on our medical staff.
