Douglas MacKay

Douglas MacKay is an accomplished accounting professional with extensive experience in financial management and leadership across various organizations. Currently serving as the Accounting Controller at Lake Forest College since May 2024, MacKay previously held the position of Managing Director at Sanctuary Wealth from December 2019 to May 2024. Additional roles include Director of Finance at We Are Unlimited, Controller at ForeverCar, and Controller at Payline Data, where significant contributions were made in a rapidly growing payment processing environment. As the Owner of JDEC LLC, MacKay supported small businesses in financial management, while earlier experience at OCC included roles such as First Vice President & Controller, overseeing a substantial budget and various financial operations for an organization with 500 employees. MacKay holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Northern Illinois University, obtained in 1992.
