Alisa Sample

Alisa Sample has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Alisa began their career as a 911 Dispatcher at Pickens County E-911 in 2009. In 2012, they worked as an Office Manager at Aeron Agency for a brief period. Alisa then transitioned into the field of television news production, starting as a Television News Producer at WCBI-TV from May 2013 to January 2014. Following that, they worked as a Television News Producer at ABC 33/40, Birmingham, from January 2014 to May 2021. During this time, their responsibilities included producing daily newscasts, researching and securing relevant information, and writing clear and concise news stories. In 2016, Alisa took on a role as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Alabama, where they taught students the basics of producing, mentored them in topic selection for the Global News Relay, and edited their scripts for clarity. Their most recent role was as a News Producer at WAAY-TV from September 2021 to May 2022. Currently, they are working in Brokerage Operations at Lake Homes Realty / LakeHomes.com, starting from March 2022.

Alisa Sample completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Communication at Mississippi University for Women from 2007 to 2011. Following this, they pursued further education at The University of Alabama, where they earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Telecommunication and Film from 2011 to 2013.
