Samuel Darroch

Samuel Darroch is an experienced communications professional with a robust background in public relations and journalism. Currently serving as the Communications and Marketing Officer at Lake Macquarie City Council since June 2022, Samuel previously held the role of Senior Communications Officer at Latrobe City Council, focusing on bushfire and flood recovery initiatives. At the Latrobe Valley Authority, Samuel coordinated communications for an $85 million sports and community initiative. Earlier roles include Broadcast Journalist at WIN Television and various journalism positions at Latrobe Valley Express and Gladstone Observer. Samuel’s educational foundation includes a degree in Communications, Journalism, and Public Relations from the University of Newcastle.
