Jim Tubbs

Jim Tubbs has extensive experience in the banking industry. Jim started their career as a Commercial Loan Officer at M&I Northern Bank in 1990 and worked there until 1995. In 1995, they joined State Bank of Cross Plains where they worked for over 22 years. At State Bank of Cross Plains, they served as President and CEO from 2011 until 2022. During their tenure, the bank grew to become the largest community bank in Dane County. In addition to their role at State Bank of Cross Plains, Jim has also served on the Board of Directors at Bankers' Bank and Wisconsin Bankers Association. Jim was also the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Community Bankers of Wisconsin. In 2022, they became the Chief Executive Officer of Lake Ridge Bank.

Jim Tubbs attended Sun Prairie High School, graduating in 1985. Jim then went on to the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1985 to 1987. Following that, they attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater from 1987 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration Finance with an emphasis in Financial Planning.
