Dave Foster

Dave Foster is an experienced professional in the transportation and safety sectors, currently serving as Manager of Safety & Training at Lake State Railway since May 2022. Prior to this role, Dave worked at CN from October 2011 to May 2022, where responsibilities included Transportation Manager overseeing rail operations in multiple cities, and Trainmaster managing rail operations at significant terminals. Earlier experience includes roles as Engineer & Conductor at Canadian National Railway and various positions in fire services and general labor. Dave began their career in retail management at Guitar Center, rapidly advancing to Assistant Manager due to notable performance. Educationally, Dave holds a Bachelor’s degree in Web Design & Graphic Imaging from Baker College of Flint.
